Subversion 1.5 will have much better built-in commands for merging. This is great news!
It’s good to see features like this make it into subversion proper so that we can stop using wrapper scripts like sv (link no longer available), which I presented (link no longer available) at last week’s ChiPy meeting. I’d like to think that scripts like sv lead the Subversion team to realize that these kinds of features are important, but who am I kidding, those guys are way smarter than I am.
