I just launched a new game on the Trickster’s Table card game app: Magic Trick by Chris Wray. Magic Trick is a unique game where you can’t see any of your cards’ values - but you can see the suits and cards are ordered from lowest to highest so the values can be deduced as cards are revealed. Additionally, you bid whenever you want by playing a card from your hand without knowing its value which leads to some very tense decisions since you have to make your bid exactly to score positive points. Given that each player has the same view of the game I also implemented a pass-and-play version in the app.
There are no ads, micro-transactions nor tracking (outside of anonymous play tracking) in the app - development is funded through donations. The next game that will be added is Yokai Septet 4-player.
Trickster’s Table is funded by donations through Patreon. 50% of donations are shared with designers/rights holders of games that appear in the app (divided by play time) and 50% of donations are used to fund the development of new games.
